Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Certificate Maker AI grants you a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Create, customize, preview, and download certificates using our templates.
• Print physical copies of generated certificates in any quantity.
• Distribute exported PDF or PNG files digitally to recipients via email, social channels, or learning management systems (LMS).
• Utilize exported certificates for both non-commercial purposes (schools, charities, clubs) and commercial purposes (corporate workshops, paid bootcamps, client recognition programs).

No attribution to Certificate Maker AI is legally mandated on your printed or distributed certificates, though linkbacks or mentions are appreciated.

Our Intellectual Property: The platform design, website interface, source code, visual components, layout algorithms, SVG decorative assets, corner ornaments, guilloché borders, and brand trademarks are owned by Certificate Maker AI and protected by applicable copyright, trade dress, and intellectual property laws. You may not re-package, sublicense, scrape, or resell our template gallery as a standalone competing certificate generator.

Your Content: You retain complete and unconditional ownership of all text, student lists, organization names, event dates, and custom uploaded assets (logos, signatures, seals) you incorporate into your certificate designs.

When uploading graphic files (such as institution logos or signature images) or entering copy into our editor, you represent and warrant that:

• You possess all necessary rights, licenses, and authorizations to utilize such marks, names, and signatures.
• Your content does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy right, or publicity right of any third party.
• Because processing occurs locally within your browser, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of any custom images.

You agree not to use Certificate Maker AI for any unlawful or deceptive purpose. Specifically, you agree NOT to:

• Generate false or forged state, municipal, or federal government credentials, law enforcement badges, or identification documents.
• Fabricate accredited academic degrees, medical licenses, bar certifications, or licensed trade credentials without statutory accreditation and authorization.
• Deploy automated bots, spiders, or headless crawlers to maliciously overburden or exploit the service.
• Engage in deceptive acts, pyramid schemes, or financial fraud utilizing fabricated awards.

Certificate Maker AI is solely a design utility software provider. We do not certify, accredit, endorse, or verify the validity, educational rigor, or skill level of any person, course, or organization named on a certificate created with this tool.

The individual or entity issuing the certificate bears sole legal responsibility for all assertions, honors, representations, and accreditations stated upon the document.

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Certificate Maker AI, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data corruption, browser rendering discrepancies, or printer incompatibility arising from your use of the platform.

Our editor provides shortcuts such as "Send via Gmail" and loads web typography via Google Fonts. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services or software.
